This Privacy Policy explains how Aaditech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Chess Mentor mobile application (the “App”). By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

Chess Mentor is designed to respect your privacy. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.

  • Gameplay data: When you ask the in-app AI mentor for an explanation or a best move, the current chess position and related move data are processed to generate a response.
  • Locally stored data: Your game history is stored only on your device so you can review past games. We do not have access to this data.

2. Third-Party AI Services

The App’s coaching features are powered by Google’s Gemini AI. To generate strategy explanations and move suggestions, chess positions and moves are sent to Google’s AI service for processing. This data is used only to return a response and is not used by us to identify you. Google’s handling of this information is governed by its own privacy policy:

Game history and app settings are stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App. We do not maintain our own servers that store your personal gameplay data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Data is shared only with the third-party AI provider (Google) strictly to deliver the coaching features you request, or where required by law.

6. Permissions

The App requests Internet access only, which is required to communicate with the AI service. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or location.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through the App, including the use of secure connections when communicating with the AI service. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
